Northern Irish/Dutch duo Fräulein have dropped their fantastic new single, ‘Wait And See’. It’s a creative step forward for the pair, who have managed to blend the two juxtaposing halves of their sonic world within one track that wanders from a harsh, heavy, grunge assault, into softer, intoxicating vocal hooks. “The song is about manic uncertainty, the confusing, exasperating and self-destructive patterns that you can fall into after the end of a relationship,” they explain. “It’s meant to represent all of those feelings, which is why the song feels like a bit of a rollercoaster, but it’s short and intense, as those feelings tend to be.” The formidable duo released their Pedestal EP back in 2023, but are planning to hit in the studio in time to release more new music in early 2024.
